About Peter Sterios
Peter Sterios, Principal of STERiOS Architecture & Interiors, has been in practice 26 years in the US,
New Zealand, and Costa Rica, specializing in sustainable design for a wide variety of building types,
including corporate interiors, academic (K-12/university), commercial retail, residential
(single & multi-family), hospitality, spas and yoga centers. His firm’s work has been published
in several national and international magazines including Contract Design, Architecture New Zealand,
and Architecture (US), as well as winning numerous AIA design awards. He has been a lecturer in interior
design and architectural design at the University of Auckland and Victoria University of Wellington
(New Zealand), and California Polytechnic (San Luis Obispo). Peter is also an international yoga
teacher, a writer and former contributing editor for Yoga Journal Magazine.
